Rent

I do not speak Arabic language, is that a problem?
No not at all. We have staff who are fluent in English and who are willing to help in those infrequent times when you may need it.

Will I have to arrange to see the properties myself?
No of course not. We will arrange to book your accommodation, pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the properties. We will tell you all you need to know about the property, areas, schools, etc so that you can make an informed decision without any pressure.

What is the standard Lease agreement?
Most of the Lease agreements are yearly contracts renewed upon mutual agreement of both parties. Though it is possible to have the lease signed for shorter periods in which cases the rent will be higher. Contracts signed in English for foreigners or in Arabic for locals.

What are the Terms of termination?
The contract has a Diplomatic clause (were applicable). The diplomatic clause entails the following:
Should the lessee have to leave Jordan for any reason beyond his control he has to give two months advance notice, as soon as he has definite knowledge of his departure. If this notice is given less than two months before abandoning the property, the lesser has the right of a full payment of three months of the annual rent.
Other contracts, the rent is non refundable

 How is the rent paid?
Payment of rent is on a yearly basis in advance unless otherwise agreed upon by the lesser and the lessee.

 How much deposit is required?
Normally the lessee’s company or diplomatic mission must place a letter of commitment for the utilities that include telephone, water and electricity. It is agreed upon in the contract that the lessee will show due diligence concerning the furniture and other items placed in the premises. If any damage occurs, it is the responsibility of the lessee. If the rent is paid one year in advance, deposits are not required.
